Welcome to Tonify, a text-to-speech and reading assistance app operated by the Tonify team ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our App, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, please do not use the App.
This App is rated 4+ and suitable for all ages. Children should use the App under parental supervision. Our Privacy Policy (available in the App) is part of these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. You agree to provide and maintain accurate account information. You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. We may automatically update the App to improve functionality or security.
Tonify allows you to upload supported files and images, extract and reformat text, and listen to that text through generated speech. You can choose from available voices, adjust playback speed up to 3x, customize fonts and text size, and follow the narration with word-by-word highlighting.
Recognition and audio results may vary depending on the quality, language, formatting, and structure of the source material. Text extraction, reading order, pronunciation, and highlighting may contain errors or omissions.
Reformatted text and generated audio may not fully reproduce the layout or meaning of the original material. You are responsible for checking important information against the original source.
Tonify does not impose word-count or page-count limits on supported content. This does not mean that audio generation or access to paid features is unlimited or free. Credit requirements and subscription entitlements apply separately.
You retain ownership of the content you upload, but you grant us a license to use it for operating and improving the App. This license is limited to those purposes and is subject to our Privacy Policy and any consent required by applicable law.
For Tonify, operating the App includes processing uploaded files and images, extracting and reformatting text, and generating audio at your request.
You must have the rights or permissions necessary to upload and process the content you submit. Do not submit content that is illegal, infringes on rights, or is offensive.
Converting content into speech does not transfer ownership of the original content or automatically grant you permission to publish, distribute, or commercially use it.
The App and its content are owned by Tonify Team and protected by intellectual property laws.
We are constantly improving and supplementing our services. This means that we may add or remove features, products or functions or completely suspend or terminate the services. We may take any of these measures at any time. If we do, we will try to inform you in advance, but this will not always be possible.
Tonify provides text-to-speech and visual reading assistance, including word-by-word highlighting and customizable reading settings.
These features may support different reading preferences, including those of users with ADHD. However, Tonify is not a medical service and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent ADHD or any other condition.
We do not guarantee improvements in attention, comprehension, learning, or reading performance.
Tonify aims to provide a useful reading and listening experience. However, we do not guarantee that extracted text, reformatted content, generated speech, or synchronized highlighting will always be accurate, complete, or error-free.
Users should verify the accuracy and suitability of the content themselves. Reading content aloud does not mean that Tonify endorses it or verifies any claims, advice, or instructions it contains.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or affects your statutory consumer rights.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
You may terminate your use by deleting the App. We may terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease. We may modify these Terms with notice through the App.
